Biography:

Nicole is a Registered Nurse (RN) and project officer living and working on Yolngu Country in the Northern Territory, based in Nhulunbuy.

She has had a highly mobile nursing career, spanning nearly 20 years, working in diverse healthcare roles across many communities in Australia and overseas in the UK. This has given her a vast array of experience and knowledge in all levels of healthcare, including primary health, critical care and chronic disease. 

Nicole is passionate about Aboriginal Health and intercultural communication. Sparked from an initial introduction to nursing in one of Perth’s major tertiary hospitals in 2006, this has been further consolidated by her return to the hospital sector in the NT in 2017.
