Biography:

Ben is an honorary research fellow at Menzies and a junior doctor who recently completed his internship at Royal Darwin Hospital. He is also PhD student at the University of Oxford where he is supported by a Rhodes Scholarship. 
His thesis focuses on the implementation of echocardiographic screening for rheumatic heart disease in First Nations communities across Northern Australia.
He is a proud Murrawarri man who hopes to contribute to children’s heart health and the elimination of rheumatic heart disease from Australia.
