Biography:

Stephanie works as a Research Assistant in the INFERR team. She has played a large role in implementing cultural safety measures and liaising between NT renal patients and the study doctors/nurses.

Stephanie has worked to construct an INFERR Indigenous Reference Group, which has allowed renal patients across the Top End to meet and voice their clinics concerns and advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues and ideas to be at the forefront of the study.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Melbourne majoring in Indigenous studies and sociology. Stephanie is now aiming to further her education and complete a Master of Public Health to further upskill and work towards her career goals in leading better community engagement by privileging Indigenous patients voices within the health system.
