Biography:

Vanessa is a Public Health Scientist. She has a background in maternal and newborn health research with a keen interest in lactation physiology, breastfeeding and reproductive health. Her work in the field spans clinical trials, product development, and continuous quality improvement projects in both the public and private sectors and start-up space.

As a Study Lead in the Global and Tropical Health Division at Menzies, she is drawing on her multidisciplinary experience to help implement a large-scale feasibility study assessing a revised case management strategy for Plasmodium vivax malaria in Indonesia.
