2025 Timor-Leste One Health Symposium

Menzies Timor-Leste, in partnership with the Fleming Fund, the BEN Study and RESPOND, is proud to host the 2025 Timor-Leste One Health Symposium.
This year’s theme - Strengthening local collaboration in Human, Animal and Environmental Health: Timor-Leste’s path to ASEAN through a One Health Approach - highlights the importance of cross-sector collaboration in tackling public health challenges. The symposium will bring together experts and stakeholders from the human, animal, and environmental health sectors to build stronger local partnerships and drive forward a united One Health vision for Timor-Leste.

Call for Abstracts:

We invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the symposium. Abstracts should align with the overall theme and relate to one of the following key topics:

  1. Zoonotic diseases and emerging health threats
  2. Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
  3. Climate change and environmental health
  4. Integrated surveillance and data
  5. One Health policies and intersectoral collaboration
  6. Community-based health initiatives
  7. Food safety and nutrition
