CDU-Menzies School of Medicine - Public Lecture Series The first in a series of public lectures hosted by CDU-Menzies School of Medicine kicked off on 17 March with Menzies Professor of Global Health Professor Ric Price giving a talk on the history of malaria and its global elimination. Sixty people attended University Theatre at CDU’s Casuarina Campus and another 40 joined online to hear Professor Price tell of the fatal but fascinating story of malaria and the global battle to end the mosquito-borne disease which causes an estimated 400 000 deaths a year worldwide.
