To wrap up our 40th Anniversary Research Impact Series, we’re heading to Mparntwe, Alice Springs to discuss the evolution and impact of research in Central Australia, and the importance of partnerships in helping drive change.

We’ll hear from Menzies researchers and key stakeholders, as they share insights on past successes and challenges, highlight the importance of place and partnership and look to the future of remote healthcare.

With its vast geography and cultural richness, research in Central Australia strives to seek solutions for the region and can also offer insights for those working in rural and remote areas nation-wide.

Throughout 2025, we’re hosting a 5 part series to highlight the long running impact of research and translation of research at Menzies. Many of our researchers work across various fields, and these events are themed to highlight how our teams and programs of work help deliver outcomes for the communities they serve. This series aims to share real world experiences and thinking, impact and innovation, to encourage event participants to consider how they could implement partnerships, training or leadership into their setting.

By registering for this event, you acknowledge photographs, audio and video recordings will occur and consent to them being used by Menzies School of Health Research. They may be shared with event partners.

If you do not consent, please let the photographer know at the event.
