MENZIES SCHOOL OF HEALTH RESEARCH TURNS 30

The Menzies School of Health Research is proudly celebrating 30 years of research, innovation and education.

Our 30 year journey has seen us grow, discover and translate research that makes a difference to the lives of many- here in the Northern Territory and globally.

Menzies began as a bold new vision for a dedicated health research centre to be established in the Northern Territory to deal with health problems unique to its region. With the backing of some of the Territory's leading health and education advocates, Menzies was officially opened in June 1984.

Today, Menzies is Australia's leading medical health research institute dedicated to improving health outcomes for Indigenous Australians. Its pioneering work into global and tropical health extends into more than 20 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.

This website contains a range of resources, including testimonials, historical image galleryinteractive timeline and events program which will celebrate the achievements and successes of Menzies throughout 2015.
