Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies) is hosting research seminars throughout 2023 to bring you the latest research on a range of topics, spanning tropical diseases and indigenous health.
For our next research seminar, we’re delving into work relating to Pneumococcal vaccination for low- and middle-income countries, presented by Menzies epidemiologist, Beth Temple.
Hear from Beth as she shares an insight into her PhD research comparing the 2 widely available pneumococcal vaccines as part of a large pneumococcal vaccine trials among infants in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This project is a collaboration between Menzies School of Health Research, the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City, the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, Melbourne and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where Beth recently submitted her thesis.
