Menzies Education awarded scholarship assistance to outstanding Australians enrolled in Charles Darwin University’s postgraduate public health and health research graduate certificates in 2023. The Menzies Education Scholarship Panel reviewed all submitted applications and awarded tuition scholarships to the most worthy candidate. The criteria used to assess applications included the course of study, how postgraduate study will impact the applicants’ lives, and their need.
The Menzies 2023 Graduate Certificate Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship was awarded to Ms Ellie Aniulis who has enrolled in the Graduate Certificate of Epidemiology. In her application, she demonstrated significant achievements in the academic and research arena. Ellie is passionate about expanding her knowledge of population health data to ensure her present work as a research project officer is done as effectively and informatively as possible.

Ellie completed her PhD in Psychology through Monash University in 2021. Ellie has been working in the research field for close to 8 years, she has worked in a number of academic, government and non-government roles.
As Ellie’s career progressed, she became interested in population health and its relevance to her work, which is why she’s chosen to undertake the Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology through Menzies School of Health Research. Currently her role focuses on education and care in early childhood.
