The team works to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, advocate for systemic change, and create meaningful pathways that maximise opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Menzies.
The responsibilities of the Biyamarr ma team are guided and supported by key strategic documents, which reinforce our shared commitment to reconciliation, equity, and culturally informed practice:
- Menzies Strategic Plan 2023 – 2028 – Outlines the organisation’s long-term vision and priorities, including a strong focus on Indigenous leadership and participation.
- Menzies Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and Career Development Strategy 2022 - 2027 – Aims to increase employment, retention, and professional development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.
- Menzies Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2024 - 2026 – Sets out clear actions to strengthen relationships, respect, and opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
