Brendon has more than 15 years’ experience in consulting, executive leadership and project management roles in the higher education, commercial, community and public service sectors. His expertise includes executive leadership, capacity building, partnership brokering and innovation in developed and developing country settings.
Brendon has had hands-on experience in the fields of governance; education; community, rural and youth development; and health systems strengthening. Brendon has designed, managed and evaluated programs serving diverse groups in Australia, Fiji, Guyana, Indonesia, Laos, and Timor-Leste.
He presently works as the Director of Research and Innovation at Charles Darwin University and Menzies School of Health Research; a Board Director for the Lowitja Institute, and Executive Council Member of the International Development Contractor’s group, providing strategic advice to the Australian aid program.
