Peter Plummer AM

Prior to retirement, Peter spent 40 years working in the public service in Papua New Guinea and the Northern Territory.
He was founding principal of Batchelor College and subsequently deputy secretary of Primary Industries and Fisheries then Industries and Development. Then followed appointments as chief executive officer of Mines and Energy, Health and Community Services, as well as Education.
Peter has also served on many boards and committees including Chair of the National Curriculum Corporation, Charles Darwin University Council, and Charles Darwin University Strategic Positioning Project. He has also had significant experience with the government and private sectors of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, along with minerals and energy sectors of the United States and France.
