Menzies' free and informative HealthLAB sessions were held in Tennant Creek during September in coordination with the John Moriarty Football program.

HealthLAB is an interactive educational health program that uses a mobile laboratory to measure for risk factors of chronic diseases. HealthLAB visits aim to engage with youth and Indigenous communities and to educate people about healthy lifestyle choices.

The team brought in interactive stations educating people about nutrition, the dangers of smoking, alcohol and other drugs and the benefits of being healthy.

During its visit the HealthLAB team also visited the Tennant Creek High School, The Paterson Street Hub and the Youth Development Unit Football Club training at the Karguru Oval.
