To recognise the week, the Reconciliation Implementation Group (RIG) planned a range of events to take place throughout the week in both Brisbane and Darwin.
The events included forums, a cultural bush walk around the CDU campus and a live radio broadcast with the Top End Aboriginal Bush Broadcasting Association (TEABBA).
The cultural bush walk around the CDU Casuarina campus was led by Elisabeth Heenan (Lizzy) who is a Tiwi woman from Milikapiti and is currently a cultural educator at NTGPE.
