After a COVID-19 related hiatus, Menzies' Research Seminar series has been relaunched.
Open to the public and free of charge, the sessions can be attended online or in-person in a newer, shorter format.
The seminars held in the John Mathews Building are scheduled on regular Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday dates to encourage more attendance and participation in the lunchtime talks.
The seminars are promoted through Menzies’ website and social media channels in the lead up to the event, and those interested in watching the presentations afterwards can view them online later.
Recent sessions have covered malaria and tropical diseases, global vaccination research, bioinformatics, youth suicide prevention, housing’s impact on health, health systems research, and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on health research.
Our web-accessible videos are being promoted across a range of channels, including future editions of Healthy Tomorrow.
Keep an eye out for upcoming sessions and feel free to join in person or online.
