In March, we were delighted to celebrate the graduates of the Biyamarr ma Traineeship Program for 2023.

Congratulations to Porsche Cahill, Royce Ramsamy and Shenea Tipungwuti-Edwards who each graduated with a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.

As part of their traineeship, the graduates undertook work placement in the Menzies Laboratory and within the Ramaciotti Regional and Remote Health Sciences Training Centre (Menzies-Ramaciotti Centre).

Each of the students have commenced university studies as they continue to pursue a career in health and science.

We’re proud of what these students have achieved and look forward to following their journeys.

Well done, Porsche, Royce and Shenea!

We were delighted to have Program Alumni Jaylene Friel emcee the graduation. Bravo Jaylene on a fantastic presentation. It’s great to see the connections between past, current and future students.

The Biyamarr ma Traineeship Program would not be possible without the ongoing work from the Biyamarr ma team, Menzies-Ramaciotti Centre, other research and training divisions within Menzies and the many mentors who support the students. Thank you to all involved.
