About the course:
The Master of Public Health (MPH) will equip students with the tools to investigate, critique, manage and respond to complex health and social issues in inter-cultural, local and global contexts. It offers advanced skills in interpreting health information, including epidemiology, statistical analysis, quantitative and qualitative research methods. Our MPH is structured around the Australian Foundation Competencies for Public Health Graduates.
Studying with Menzies:
In addition to the core public health curriculum this course concludes with a meaningful public health research experience.
Our students will carry out significant research activities in Indigenous or global health, under the supervision of experienced researchers with Menzies School of Health Research.
Menzies has an outstanding research record in clinical and public health research that seeks to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequity for populations in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Our students will be exposed to a wide range of learning opportunities designed to increase student understanding of public health responses in Indigenous and global health.
