Jane is a registered nurse. She graduated in 1989 as part of the final nursing group to train at Royal Darwin Hospital. Jane has worked in various health settings in Darwin and joined Menzies in 2014 as a project officer with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC)-funded project: Improving delivery of secondary prophylaxis for RHD: a stepped-wedge, community-randomised trial.

Jane joined the IHEARBETA clinical trial  with the aim of determining the efficacy of topical and oral treatments for resolution of discharging ears among Aboriginal children with chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM).
