The Menzies Viral Hepatitis team attended the 13th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference held 29-31 May 2022 at Sofitel Brisbane Central. This conference aims to support work towards the elimination of hepatitis B and hepatitis C, as well as support the communities living with these conditions in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia and Pacific region.
The team shared their stories and research on hepatitis B and C across the Northern Territory. Some of their presentation topics included hepatitis C treatment in the NT, the stigma around viral hepatitis and stories about hepatitis B (Hep B) care and management in the NT.
