Biography:
Susan is an NHMRC Early Career Fellow investigating the immunologic mechanisms contributing to the pathogenesis of chronic suppurative lung disease in children. Her career goal is to improve outcomes for disadvantaged children by providing biological evidence for health management.
Her current research interests include:
- Understanding the role of the host immune response in the pathogenesis of bronchiectasis
- Early-life immune development and its role in the pathogenesis of chronic respiratory and metabolic conditions.
