Blake Repine is the Chief Operating Officer of Menzies School of Health Research.
Blake has an impressive resume both academically and professionally. He has completed studies in the areas of business, management and leadership at various levels from Diploma to Masters, and is currently completing a Doctor of Business Administration.
Blake has over 18 years of experience in Defence as well as many years’ experience in senior roles in tertiary education and small to medium-sized businesses across multiple industries and countries. Blake’s professional expertise and primary focus is executive management, innovation and leadership that impacts operational improvements within organisations.
Blake is highly regarded for his abilities and achievements throughout his career. During his time with the United States Army, Blake received recognition for his leadership and, in 2010, was awarded the Bronze Star Medal while serving in Iraq.
In addition to his work commitments, Blake is a certified State Referee and National Coach in weightlifting and holds a CASA Pilot’s License. He also holds a license as a firefighter and emergency vehicle driver after serving six years at the Lillington Volunteer Fire Department in North Carolina.
