Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies) is hosting research seminars throughout 2023 to bring you the latest research on a range of topics, spanning tropical diseases and Indigenous health.

For our next research seminar, we’re sharing an update about the National Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey (NTPS) of Timor-Leste.

We’re delighted to hear from Menzies health informatics and data scientist, Deolindo Ximenes, as he shares an update on this survey, which aims to screen up to 20 000 people for tuberculosis (TB) across the different municipalities of Timor-Leste.

Working in partnership with the Timor-Leste National TB Program, the NTPS aims to provide better understanding of the impact of TB across the country.

If you have an interest in infectious diseases and disease control, we hope to see you there.

Join us for our final research seminar of 2023 – register today!
