The next lunchtime seminar will feature Sally Sievers, NT Anti-Discrimination Commissioner invited by the Menzies Gender Equity Committee, to talk about achieving gender equity in the workplace.

The Lunchtime Seminars are held on Wednesdays at the John Mathews Building (RDH, Bldg 58).

The format aims to encourage more discussion and question time and requires the presenter to talk for 40 to 45 minutes followed by 15 to 20 minutes of facilitated discussion.

The aim of the 2017 series will be to showcase our research and that of distinguished visitors to Menzies from Australia and abroad. PhD students who need to present their final results will also do so in this forum.

The broader Menzies' seminars will focus on research outcomes rather than on research in progress or on individual programs. These will alternate with internal lab seminars with a lab focus, which will remain largely as forums for discussions of works in progress or completed studies.

Seminars are open for all to attend and no RSVP will be required. If you are interested in receiving regular updates about Menzies' seminars or are interested in presenting, please email.

When: Wednesdays, 12.30–1.30 pm

Where:  Seminar Room, Menzies School of Health Research, Bldg 58, RDH campus
