Brendon Douglas

Brendon Douglas is the Deputy Director at Menzies School of Health Research. Brendon brings experience in executive leadership in the higher education, commercial, community and public service sectors. His responsibilities and expertise include strategy development and implementation, government relations, business development, partnership brokering and innovation in developed and developing country settings.

Brendon has had experience in the fields of health systems strengthening; governance; education; and community development. Brendon has designed, managed and evaluated programs serving diverse groups in Australia, Fiji, Guyana, Indonesia, Laos, and Timor-Leste.

In addition to his role at Menzies, Brendon is the Vice Chancellors' Fellow at the Innovative Research Universities and International Fellow at Oxford Academic Health Partners. Brendon supports the Lowitja Institute as a Board Director and is a qualified lawyer, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and has post graduate management qualifications.
