Royce was born in Cairns, Queensland and moved to Darwin in 2010.
He completed schooling in 2021 at Casuarina Senior College.
Royce applied for a traineeship shortly after finishing school and is now working with the Menzies- Ramaciotti Centre and Biyamarr Ma team at Menzies School of Health Research.
