These scholarships are MIGAS’s way of highlighting apprenticeship talent within skilled trades in this country and investing in the future of these impressive apprentices and trainees.

This year was highly competitive and required a diligent review by our panel to identify a shortlist of finalists and the ultimate scholarship recipients. We would like to congratulate the above apprentices and trainees for their determination and dedication to their trade. Your receipt of the 2018 scholarship highlights your dedication to your technical training, your understanding of the value in continuing your professional training beyond your trade, and sends a message of resilience and perseverance to future apprentices and trainees in your communities and trades.

We would also like to thank each host employer who nominated an apprentice or trainee in this year’s scholarship program. Your nominations highlighted to us the value of the work we achieve together in mentoring the next generation of qualified tradespeople.

MIGAS would equally like to recognise the Field Officers and MIGAS support staff for guiding and encouraging these apprentices and trainees to remain focused on their trade careers and be the best they can.

MIGAS would like to take this opportunity to celebrate all of those nominated and the exceptional finalists. We encourage you to continue to do great work and discuss your interest in participating in the 2019 MIGAS Scholarship Program with your MIGAS Field Officer and Supervisors when nominations open again at the end of the year.

Keep up to date with the MIGAS MiScholarship Program.
