The Communicate Study Partnership is hosting the biennial First Nations Health Communication Symposium on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 August 2025. 

The theme of the 2025 symposium is Stories that matter: reflecting and collaborating for change.

This event brings together First Nations leaders, health professionals, researchers, interpreters and community advocates, to share research, lived experiences, and best practices to advance strategies for delivering culturally safe care. 

Expressions of interest are being sought for presentations, panels and information stalls. Download the EOI form below for more information and send to communicatestudypartnership@menzies.edu.au by Friday 16 May 2025.

Event Details

When | Thursday 21 and Friday 22 August 2025 

Where | John Mathews Building (JMB) Auditorium, Menzies School of Health Research (Building 58, Royal Darwin Hospital Campus, Corner of Nightingale and Paracelsus road, Tiwi) 

A satellite site will be available in Alice Springs (location TBC), where attendees can participate as a group and presenters can deliver their talks remotely.
