The EarInfoNet Project aims to increase evidence-based prevention and management of Indigenous ear health and hearing problems by improving access to relevant evidence-based information and educational resources and increasing national collaboration and communication in this area.

Access to evidence-based information and resources about ear health and hearing has been limited in the past except in isolated instances. Access to the highest quality information about ear health and hearing on the EarInfoNet is the first step for people working in the field to be able to make a difference in ear health and hearing in Australian Indigenous children.

As well as this, communication and collaboration between the various groups of people involved in ear health and hearing in Indigenous children has been poor. The EarInfoNetwork facilitates communication between the multitude of stakeholders working in this complex area of child health and wellbeing. The EarInfoNetwork will continue to promote national collaboration in this important area.
