Biography:

Jason was appointed as human resources manager at Menzies School of Health Research in January 2011.  He leads the activities of the human resource unit who deliver human resource services to Menzies in accordance with workforce and legislative requirements and organisational policies. These services include industrial relations, recruitment, payroll and workplace health and safety.

At the beginning of 2015 along with his role of human resources manager, Jason was appointed operations manager to manage the efficient, effective, timely and safe provision of operational support, reception and procurement across Menzies.  This includes negotiating and reviewing supplier contracts and leases such as mobile phones, photocopiers and faxes, travel, software licensing, cleaning and office supplies.

Jason is active in the local human resources community and is the President of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) - NT Council. He is recognised as a certified professional member and Fellow (FAHRI),  Jason is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM).

Jason has experience in both in the non for profit and commercial sectors with his most recent prior human resources appointments at Kormilda College and the Paspaley Pearling Company.
