Menzies got its name from the involvement of the ‘Menzies Foundation’ who were a key funding partner at the time of establishment. The Menzies Foundation is a non-profit, non-political organisation established in 1979 to honour the memory of the late former Prime Minister of Australia, Sir Robert Menzies by promoting excellence in medical and health research and education.
