Indigenous Students | Menzies School of Health Research

Indigenous Students

At Menzies we want to help to develop the Indigenous researchers of the future and are committed to continuing professional education for Indigenous people.

Menzies provides a culturally safe learning environment that caters for the needs of Indigenous students.

You can study a range of subjects at different levels. There are academic programs and courses to suit everyone’s needs.

There are short courses about Indigenous and tropical health. They will help you understand some of the key health issues facing Indigenous people and Indigenous communities.

You can study at postgraduate level – a Postgraduate Diploma or Masters in Public Health both focusing on Indigenous and tropical health.

There are opportunities for Indigenous people to study for their PhD’s and Menzies has graduated Indigenous PhD students in a range of subjects.
